For Confession Submitters
AnonFess does not collect or store any personally identifiable information about confession submitters. All confessions are submitted anonymously. We do not record your name, email address, or any account information when you submit a confession. The only technical data temporarily stored is your IP address for rate-limiting purposes, which is automatically deleted within one hour.
Because submissions are anonymous, we cannot verify the identity of a submitter after the fact. If you wish to request the deletion of a confession you submitted, please contact your university’s administrators directly via their Facebook Page. University administrators have full control over their confessions and can remove any post from both the AnonFess platform and Facebook.
For University Administrators
To delete data associated with your Facebook account:
- Log in to your AnonFess university admin panel
- Go to University Settings
- Click the Disconnect button under Facebook Settings
This immediately removes all stored Facebook data, including your Page Access Token, Page ID, and Page name. No Facebook data is retained after disconnection.
To request full deletion of your administrator account and all associated university data, please contact us at admin@anonfess.com. Upon receiving your request, we will:
- Delete your administrator user account
- Remove all stored university settings
- Delete any stored Facebook connection data
- Remove the university’s confession pages from the platform
Please allow up to 30 days for account deletion requests to be processed.
Third-Party Data
AnonFess does not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties. Images uploaded with confessions are stored on our content delivery network (Bunny.net) and will be deleted when the associated confession is removed.
